Where is May?

Germany had a lot of holidays in May, but I can't quite get the concept of June in my head. I keep referencing it in future tense when it is actually here and almost the middle of June. We have been on the go every weekend and put in a lot of miles in the last month. We took a 6 hour train ride to Freiburg to help friends move to Frankfurt in week 1. It is not every day that you see a man with a power drill and box of pampers infront of Frankfurts Main Train Station. We had bought the pampers as a gift for friends who recently welcomed a baby boy into the world. We celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary from when we were officially married by the German government on June 6th. In our 3 years of marriage we have lived on 3 different continents in 3 different countries that speak 3 different languages. We have had 7 different apartments, lived in 3 different hotels, and managed to get stranded with B's parents for a month before moving to India. We have concluded that we manage stress well together and that considering we have not had a normal start we are doing extremely well. I am proud to say that we have been living in the same apartment for the past 14 months. This past weekend we celebrated B and his brother's birthdays. It was enjoyable to throw him an 8 am surprise breakfast garden party with all 22 of our neighbors. He didn't see that one coming! After our 8 am surprise breakfast birthday gathering we proceeded to drive about 500 kilometers. We visited both sets of grandparents, aunts & uncles, had coffee & cake with B's parents, picked up a load of baby gear from good friends, and ended our evening with brother in law and future sister in law to cheer on Germany in the EU Soccer Championship. Luckily Germany won 1-0 over Portugal! The entire country is now flying German flags everywhere as they prepare for their next game Wednesday night...don't ask me who they are playing. I find watching soccer about as entertaining as fly fishing, but I have never been fly fishing so maybe it is a bad example. Today Peanut is celebrating his/her 27th week of life and we are getting more and more anxious to meet our little dancer. Things seem to have gotten very real in the past few weeks and now it is just a matter of approximately 13 weeks before we meet our new little one. That is life in a nut shell for us. We are doing well and taking life day by day.
