We reached Madurai via night train from Chennai and really enjoyed the Minakshi Sundaresvara Temple. Dedicated to the goddess, and consort of Siva, this is said to be the biggest temple in the country. We found the nine towers of the temple to be very refreshing with their bright colors. Seeing them in the early morning was beautiful and still quite cool outside. For the first time in my life I saw a cow eat a banana for breakfast.
We tackled 18 months in India and now after surviving "Life on the Other Side" we have relocated to Germany for a more civilized approach at married life. We don't know where the wind will take us, but we know we have each other and another wonderful opportunity to meet new people and explore new cities.
