Tonight we challenged our taste buds with a new fruit. The name is Sugar Apple or Sweetsop and it looks more like a pine cone than a fruit. Once cracked open we discovered a sweet custard tasting treat. A little Google research tells me that Sugar Apples are native to the tropical Americas, India, and Pakistan.
It could also serve as a character in an alien movie....
