In the process of learning a new language one runs across words that have different meanings. As you can see in the picture, here are two of my favorite examples between English and German. Word Power!
First, the word Pickel in German means zit or pimple. It is truly one of my favorite German words because I laugh everytime Ben says "Jodi you have a pickel on your face." I purposely bought this new German face cream because it says Anti-Pickel...ha!
Second, is the brand Dusch Das. Dusche in German means shower. This is an old favorite because my dad saw Ben's shower gel (Dusch Das)in my shower in Cincinnati and thought that it was mine. You know what I mean =) I had to explain the meaning in German.
