Saturday October 1st-Monday October 3rd we took in the last weekend of Oktoberfest in Munich. The weather was absolutely perfect at around 70 degrees and clear blue skies. Normally it is not so warm this time of year in Munich. We had a long 7 hour train ride from the northwest corner of Germany to the south east corner, but well worth the trip. We met up with good friends in Munich and took in the festival together. Our friends found Oktoberfest to be loud, smelly, and crowded. Ben and I concluded that after being in India the noise, smells, and people didn't even bother us. We didn't think it smelled bad or was crowded at all. I've concluded most westerners don't know the real meaning of crowded. Take a peak back at my Mumbai Metro blog, now that was crowded!

We had to go to the real Hofbräuhaus as the one in Cincinnati is closed.
Enjoying one final liter Saturday night. I was drinking a radler and Ben a normal beer therefore you can see the color difference. A radler has sprite or lemonade added to make it a light beer.
