Good Morning-
Spending time on the farm has really been wonderful, but now the "I miss my husband" has turned into "I want & need my husband." If my passport is not mailed today it looks like my chances of flying Tuesday morning are slim. I'm starting to get very frustrated. I'm sitting and waiting and there is nothing I can do. They told me 5 business days and today is the 8th. I thought my patience was really improving since moving to India, but apparently not.
The past week or so Ben has been going round and round with our apartment manager about our living situation. Originally we were told we had to be out the 11th, but now they are working with us a bit. They decided to just up and lease the whole place and kick us to the curb. This is just another example of the fun stuff we have to deal with while living in India. The latest is that we won't have to move until I get back, but at this point who knows when that will be.
I apologize for the negativity today, but I'm getting pushed to my limit and I need a hug from my husband. I am really looking forward to this weekend as I get to spend time with my South Dakota/Minnesota friends. Hopefully they will help boost my mood. This past week I tried to be an All-American Girl by:
1) Visiting Walmart twice in one day.
2) Getting a hair cut at Walmart.
3) Attending Thursday night Burger Bash at the Legion.
4) Eating at Dairy Queen.
5) Visiting the local nursing home.
6) Having dinner at a gas station while driving home from Brookings.
7) Watching American Idol and cheering for the girl from Winner, SD.
8) Holding baby Westin at just 10 days old (A real treat!).
9) Playing pinochle.
10)Drinking wine at noon on a Thursday, just because I can.
Thinking and praying for baby Will, the employee putting the visa in my passport, and my husband all alone and freezing in India.
