We tackled 18 months in India and now after surviving "Life on the Other Side" we have relocated to Germany for a more civilized approach at married life. We don't know where the wind will take us, but we know we have each other and another wonderful opportunity to meet new people and explore new cities.

1 Month
Today our baby girl is exactly 4 weeks old. She is over 4,100 grams (9 lb.), loves to eat, and enjoys to kick her legs and move her arms. When Ella does cry it is stronger and louder than before. She gets upset if she doesn't get her breakfast, lunch, and dinner served on time. Currently she eats every 2 hours, which keeps mom on her toes. This past week she has become more aware of objects as her eye sight continues to improve. She loves to stare into mom and dad's eyes while we are talking with her. When she is finished eating she will usually crack a smile, but is yet to smile regularly or coo back at us. Today my midwife informed me that her pressure bump is definitely getting smaller. I don't notice it as I am with her everyday, but my midwife only sees Ella weekly. Great news to hear that it is reducing in size. We have had an absolutely amazing month getting to know our daughter. What will month 2 bring our way? Maybe a few more hours of sleep?
