On Monday Ella turned 6 months old. It was a mini celebration for me as a mother. I've been able to keep her alive, healthy, and filled with mother milk for 1/2 year. Obviously I had a lot of support from my husband, but the patience and time invested in feeding a little one can not be explained. Ella is a happy little one and we feel so lucky to have her in our lives. She is currently 70 cm (27 inches) and 7.9 kg (17 lb), which puts her in the 90/95% for height and 50% for weight. At her 6 month check up last week the doctor wrote "kräftiges Mädchen (strong girl)" in her file. The comment made me proud!
